Tikkun Olam Projects (T.O.P.'s)
We have such a fabulous time during the summer, we thought we would find ways to see each other throughout the year
too! T.O.P.'s, Our NEW OFF-SEASON PROGRAM, will not only help grow and strengthen our CMC community, it will provide
all our campers and families with the opportunity to engage in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World)
and give back to the San Diego community. We've got a program for each at unit, so check out what we've got planned for 2012!

Single Parent Family Retreat
May 4-6, 2012
Please join us for the 6th Annual Family Camp Weekend up at CampMountain Chai, co-sponsored with JFS' Supporting Jewish
Single Parents. The weekend promises to be an exciting getaway for Jewish single parents and their children in the
beautiful San Bernardino Mountains which offers fresh air, mountain vistas, gorgeous wooded acreage, personalized
service and the best facilities around. Age specific activities will be offered for all children ages 6-18. We
offer a child activity program for children 5 and under and a variety of additional programming for all parents.

Annual Camp Mountain Chai Men's Getaway Weekend
Friday, June 1 - Sunday, June 3
Join men of all ages, from across the community for what is rapidly becoming the year's not-to-be-missed
Jewish Men's Retreat! Participate in discussions, hike through the trails of the San Bernardino National
Forest, rest, relax and enjoy the company of an interesting and diverse group of men.
5th Annual Open House and BBQ
Sunday, May 6th
Join new and returning campers and their families, friends and supporters of Camp Mountain Chai for a
fun filled afternoon of activities and food. Tour the campsite, meet members of our staff, climb the rock wall,
take a shot at archery and enjoy a Kosher BBQ lunch all at Camp Mountain Chai's beautiful location in the
San Bernardino National Forest. A not-to-be-missed event!
Grandma, Grandpa and Me...A Camp for Children and Grandparents!

It's all about Connections. Together at Camp Mountain Chai you and your grandchildren (ages 5 to 13) can experience
specially-planned programs and activities that will lead to a lifetime of memories.
We'll do the work - and you'll have the fun.
In a beautiful setting 7500 ft. in the majestic mountains of San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear, each family
cozies up in their own spacious, rustic cabin (with carpeting, heat and indoor plumbing). Each day of your four-day camp
is packed with lush nature walks, sports and crafts activities, memorable campfires and the unique experience of sharing
Jewish music, dance and tradition.
Long after camp is over, you'll be remembering and sharing the joyous and moving experience and the many ways meaningful
Jewish content is integrated into daily activity.
Enhance your connection with your grandchildren as you share this rich adventure - and as they deepen their own Jewish
identity. Sorry...no parents allowed!
Women's Weekend
Fall 2012
Camp Mountain Chai is to host its fifth annual Women's Weekend for the Jewish Women of San Diego County and
beyond. Come join us for a special Shabbat at camp, located in the beautiful San Bernardino National forest.
Together, we will explore and nurture our emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual well-being.
Weekend highlights will include...
- New experiences and friendships
- Expert-led workshops
- Social activities, schmooze time, and wine
- Exercise, yoga, hikes, and ropes course
- Healthy and plentiful kosher cuisine
- Festive singing and Israeli dancing
- Spirited and inspiring Shabbat services with Rabbi Lenore Bohm

Our CMC Reunion & Registration Party 2012 is going to be an incredible event! Once again, this an afternoon for
the entire CMC family, campers, parents, siblings, and friends... everyone is invited!
If you happen to live outside the SD area we hope you can still join us. We encourage you to make plans to
stay with camp friends here in SD, and make a great weekend out of it.
If you have friends that are interested in CMC please invite them to be
your guests. We would love to have them enjoy this wonderful evening with us.
4th, 5th and 6th Grade Retreat

Join us for a community Shabbaton weekend at Camp Mountain
Chai to bring children from different synagogues, movements and areas of San Diego together for a weekend
of learning and fun.
